Afterimages of summer

When summer comes, I suddenly think, "Oh! I forgot!" Unfortunately, there are very few days during the summer when the wind chimes make their own sounds.

Here in Tokyo. Desert area during the day. A tropical night where not even the slightest breeze blows.If I want to hear the sound of a wind chime, I have to approach the wind chime myself and ring it with my hands as if I was visiting a shrine.

Even so, I often feel the wind in the Kanto region more than when I lived in Kyoto. If you look closely at the map, you'll notice that Tokyo is close to Tokyo Bay, even though it's a big city. Or, I often feel the wind blowing in the city. A long time ago, when I was walking in Ginza, I was surprised to hear the smell of the sea breeze blowing. It certainly short distance where the wind from the sea comes in.

A little while ago, the wind chimes rang on their own. Along with the cool breeze today, crickets are also chirping.

The seasons are changing.
